About Me

I have been working in education and advocating for students for over 20 years, almost all of those years were working with students with disabilities. All of those years have been working with students who were considered at-risk populations. 

My earliest experiences as a child of parent with a disability, my experiences as a special education teacher, and my experiences as a parent of children with disabilities have led to a continued passion for advocacy in special education. 

I have completed the only post graduate program in Collaborative Special Education Law and Process in the nation. 

My mission is to empower parents and caregivers to advocate for the needs of their children/students through training, support, and advocacy.
